Cradle Coast Authority

The Cradle Coast Authority refreshed its logo with the guidance and creative talent of Michael Cannon at Design Eye Creative in 2013. We had a specific brief and a limited budget, and Michael was able to work with these guidelines to provide us with many alternatives from which to choose. As the shortlist grew shorter, Michael continued to refine the preferred concepts always taking on board our feedback, offering practical or thought-provoking suggestions when needed, and presenting revised designs that led us to the refreshed look we have today. Michael delivered quality, print-ready and web-format files and backed this up with the production of a highly useful style sheet.

Made in China Australia

Michael Cannon is a dream designer with a seemingly endless store of ideas, while patiently accommodating difficult requests and last minute changes. Best of all, he never assumes he knows better than the client, yet surprises them with a visual solution that is just perfect, just what is needed! Astonishing.

Harriers in the Harvest

Design Eye Creative had been recommended to me by a work colleague who at the time headed Communications and Marketing for that business. I was looking for distinctiveness to promote and captivate an audience to then gain support for a nature conservation project, nothing to sell but hopeful of tapping into a conscience. After lengthy consultation and with attention to the finest detail, the presented concepts gave me a choice from which I could place my mark for the long term, time will tell. For now, I have had many favourable comments and am proud to project such a professional yet personal approach to my work.

Michael Chettle Financial Planning

I was in the early stages of envisioning a fledgling business when a networking acquaintance advised I should invite Design Eye Creative to assist in the development of the all-important identity. Proving professional and easy to work with, Michael’s process was streamlined from initial concepts to the completion of a striking identity that resonates well with the mindset of those looking for financial planning options, and one that regularly attracts positive comments from clients and peers alike.

From the business logo, promotional brochure, website, Powerpoint or signage, my first action is to contact Design Eye Creative to ensure we maintain consistent brand quality.

Burnie Arts & Function Centre

Design Eye Creative is a vital part of our organisation’s success, consistently hitting the mark when it comes to designing promotional materials for all the activities presented at the Burnie Arts & Function Centre and Burnie Regional Art Gallery. The level of care and attention sets Design Eye Creative apart from the rest. With reliable, high levels of service, from not only a design and creative standpoint, but right through to managing printers, materials and ultimately assessing the final product once it arrives in house. The efficient turnaround from concept to design, and ongoing development, really does speak volumes of Michael’s own work ethos and capacity to produce great outcomes.

We highly recommend Design Eye Creative.

How do you choose a graphic artist for a project as crucial as an eye-catching book jacket? In my case I remember finding promotional leaflet at Burnie Arts Centre, turning to my wife and saying: “Whoever did this sure knows his business…” At the time I was having massive problems getting a US designer to interpret my thoughts so, nothing ventured, nothing gained, I phoned Design Eye Creative’s number, (discreetly displayed on the leaflet,) and arranged to meet Michael Cannon. An inspired decision! Within minutes we’d established an intuitive working rapport that has only grown stronger as each succeeding title’s jacket design catches-the-eye and makes sales. And no author can ask for more than that, can he?

Atibane

We contacted Design Eye Creative to create an identity which best reflected our role in a developing mining industry niche market. The success of the pilot meant that we needed to commence immediately. With a brief rundown on the general concept of the business and its application Michael had the task of finding a solution in a very short time.

Within the week we were presented with an identity we felt ‘hit the nail on the head’. Michael had taken on board all the factors provided to him with and presented an absolutely first class result we are now using in our ongoing negotiations.

Design Eye Creative has enabled us to go from a thought to workable reality in a very short space of time. The future of this business has international opportunities and we feel that the identity that Michael has created will stand us in good stead in a global marketplace.

Thank you Michael for the superb, professional service!

Michael Waldmann, Company Director, Atibane

Classic Landscapes

We were about to take our successful landscaping business to the next level and knew our existing logo would not take us there. I had previously met Michael through networking engagements and felt comfortable I could not engage a better designer to help create a fresh image that would help us onward and upward. Since then Design Eye Creative have proven to be a fantastic partner in ensuring Classic Landscapes are front of mind where it counts.

Axium IT

Michael Cannon has a flare for designing unique and inspiring brands and marketing collateral that command attention. An excellent communicator, Michael was commissioned to rebrand Axium IT, and I could not have been happier with the outcome. It feels like an ongoing partnership, with my staff providing professional and proactive IT support, and Design Eye Creative with the creative and timeless public facing image of Axium IT. My long standing clients are testament to the effectiveness of Michael’s work.

Theatre North at the Princess

Theatre North's new General Manager recommended Michael for the job, having worked with him on several projects previously. Michael accepted the challenge, designing the perfect logo and successfully branding us as Theatre North at the Princess. To begin, Michael travelled to Launceston to get personally acquainted with the historic Princess Theatre and to discover for himself how to best represent our story through his design. A selection of concepts soon followed and when the final product was unveiled the new-look logo drew widespread applause, on schedule, at our launch in November. The beautiful art deco facade of our iconic and much-loved theatre now features prominently in all our branding, strongly connecting our business to our venue and to our community.
